In Windows 2000, Windows XP, and Windows 7, Microsoft added cool classic titles like Minesweeper, Solitaire, or Mahjong Titans and Hearts. However, these games are no longer available on Windows 10.
In fact, you can still play Solitaie on Windows 10 for free but Microsoft requires you to upgrade so the paid version to remove ads. Meanwhile, the classic games allow you to play comfortably without showing any ads.
To install classic Windows 7 games on Windows 10 we use an installer created by a member of the Digital Life forum. This installer has been scanned by Windows Defender and VirusTotal without detecting any viruses or malicious code.
Step 1: First you need to access here to download the installer.
Step 2: The installer you just downloaded will be in the form of a .rar archive. You need to unzip then open the .exe file and select the language and press Ok , then press Nex t
Step 3: Select the game you want to install and scroll down to deselect Internet games
Step 4: Select the folder where the game is stored, usually to default
Step 5: Click Next
Step 6: Wait for the installation to complete, then click Finish to close the installer
Step 7: Go to the Start menu and you’ll see newly installed games appear right in the Recently added section
That’s it, you can enjoy the classic games of Windows 7 right on Windows 10. The list of games includes:
- Solitaire Classic, Spider Solitaire and Hearts
- Minesweeper
- FreeCell
- Purple Place
- Mahjong Titans
As of December 29, 2020, these games support the following versions of Windows 10:
- Preview Build 21777 or earlier
- Version 20H2 (Build 19042)
- 2004 Version (Build 19041)
- Versions 1909 and 1903
If you don’t want to play anymore, you can uninstall these games by going to Programs & Features in Control Panel (or going to Settings> Apps).
