Windows is one of the oldest operating systems as well as most commonly used today because of the comprehensiveness it brings to the user. But that doesn’t mean Windows is a perfect platform. Here are five applications that, if found on Windows 10, will greatly improve the user experience and make this operating system a much more comprehensive platform.
This is Microsoft’s Xbox cloud gaming services platform, which released a beta test in November 2019 and is expected to launch September 15 this year. It can be said that Project xCloud is one of the projects receiving the top concern today in the gaming community in particular and technology users around the world in general.
What makes Project xCloud so interesting is that it can turn any PC into a gaming rig without having to worry too much about hardware configuration. Bringing Project xCloud to Windows was not only a decision that had a great influence on the market share of this service, but also really opened up new entertainment experiences for Windows PC users.
Project xCloud will launch publicly next month for Android. However, Microsoft has yet to mention when it will appear on Windows.
Apple currently offers users the web app of Apple TV, but it only allows you to play TV content without support for downloading content for offline viewing.
The Apple TV app is now available on Apple TV, iPad, iPhone, iPod touch and Mac, providing a convenient anytime, anywhere service experience. It’s time to have a similar Windows platform-specific application.
Windows Movie Maker
Windows Live Essentials is a suite of useful tools like Windows Photo Gallery, Windows Movie Maker, Mail, Writer and SkyDrive (now OneDrive). At the present time, OneDrive is the most famous name. The remaining tools are lesser known, but all exist in one form or another. Movie Maker has almost disappeared.
After more than 5 years of launch, Windows 10 still lacks a simple but powerful and effective video editing tool for users. Hence, reviving Movie Maker is clearly not a bad idea.
Apple owns a similar tool called iMovie. It’s free for all disabled apple ecosystem users. Although it only supports relatively simple gadgets, but iMovie is appreciated by many for its convenience, so they do not have to waste time searching and downloading third-party applications. It’s time Microsoft should also revive Movie Maker on Windows 10, with the motto of a user-friendly interface, support for collage features, adding effects to videos available, and for free.
